Our timelines.
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receiving your complaint.
- Resolution within 15 days of receipt, as required by the IT Rules, 2021.
- Takedown within 36 hours for content reported through our in-app report tools or valid legal orders — this is our internal SLA, tracked per report with a countdown.
- Within 24 hourswe act on complaints about content that exposes a person's private areas, shows them in a sexual act, or is morphed/impersonated imagery — as the rules require.
How to report.
- In-app: every profile and every message has a report and a block button. Blocking is instant and silent; reports enter our moderation queue with the SLA clock running.
- By email: write to admin@unpure.in with (1) what happened, (2) the profile name/alias involved, (3) when it happened, and (4) screenshots if you have them. We never penalise reporters for evidence screenshots.
A note on ephemerality: chats self-delete after 24 hours, so report quickly. Reporting a message preserves the reported content for review even after the normal purge.
What happens next.
A human moderator reviews every report. Outcomes range from a warning to content removal to a permanent ban, and — for illegal content — preservation and reporting to authorities as mandated. You receive a closure update on your complaint. If you're unhappy with our resolution, you may escalate to the Grievance Appellate Committee under the IT Rules, 2021, or pursue remedies under applicable law.
